About Your Job:
As a cargo freighter operations supervisor you’ll be responsible to supervise and coordinate with freighter operations team and guarantee smooth running of cargo operational functions referring to freighter operations. you’ll be responsible to continuously monitor and develop adherence to rules outlined by native authorities and regularity bodies and guarantee strict compliance to IATA regulations for effective movement of in-bound and out bound cargo whilst reducing operational value.
Additional responsibilities includes:-
Check all ULD prior to loading outboard freighter aircraft , to confirm they meet all Qatar Airways standards.
Coordinate between sales/ground services agents (GSA) to GHA together with booking priorities, clear FBL directions and priorities are given to GHAs, special cargoes are handled properly and pre-alerts sent.
Ensure flight loads is commercially maximized as a priority.
Ensure robust and consistent reporting at the station level to spot all non-conformance for all stake holders within the supply chain together with GHAs, GSA, Sales, Reservations, Ramp and Hub. you will make sure that all irregularities are recorded in our internal system (CROMIS).
Be in constant coordination with cargo Head workplace for smooth coordination of cargo operations.
Monitor standard operating procedures (SOP) and service level agreements (SLAs) with the GHAs within the region. Streamlining policies with GHA workers so as to follow procedures in the absence of cargo staff at the various station.
Assist on-board load masters in offloading and loading activities of aircraft whenever needed.
Undertake spot checks on invoice verification for operational based cost as per regional/ head workplace requirements.
Ensure all safety and security incidents are totally investigated through to root cause analysis and reported within company timeframe and conduct station audits /inspections in line with head workplace guidelines.
You must be a graduate with four years of airline or air freight industry experience from which a minimum of 2-3 years will be on supervisory level. you must have smart operations knowledge on A 330F and B 777F aircraft.
You must also have smart knowledge of cargo operations, Dangerous goods laws, Live Animal laws and perishable cargo handling. you must have good command of written and spoken English and presently be eligible to live and work in Frankfurt. you must even be a good communicator with a team oriented personality.
